Try running fink remove mplayer, then do your update, and then install
mplayer again.

Well, the problem is that mplayer is in the way. If you remove it, you
should be able to install libfame1.

Indeed I had this version of APPLE X11 installed. I withdrew it and
reinstalled Xfree86 but perhaps I forgot something.

Hi Tom,
The line source /sw/bin/init.csh must not have any quotation marks and
there must be a newline (return) at the end of this line.
Otherwise check that the PATH (echo $PATH) includes the /sw/bin and
/sw/sbin directories.
Cheers,
Remi

I need to find the author of the FINK version of Evolution. How can I find
that information. It seems that Evolution is not an App that many people can
answer questions on, so I figured that I should then go straight to the

Well, if you have other things built against the old x11, they may still
be confusing matters (ie, if you built qt against apple x11, and then

Hello
I have a current system with the latest fink, X11.app
and 10.2.4, and I'm printing to a Canon BJC-85 inkjet
printer. The printer works FINE when printing from all
the OS-X apps. When printing from all the X11 apps, or
from the command line (lp textfile), a job is sent
to the printer and I can see

So how must I proceed, simply to rebuild QT ? or is

2) use fink describe evolution, and the maintainer is listed.
