I've just tried to update bison (on an Intel 10.5.8 MBA) and noticed
"BuildConflicts:" has been repeated in the .info file. Manually

Hi everyone,
I've just updated lyx-x11 to lyx-x11 1.6.10-46 on my machine running 10.6.
However, when I try to run the executable I get this:
[tinman..~] 26) lyx
terminate called after throwing an instance of 'std::bad_cast'
what(): std::bad_cast
/sw/bin/lyx: line 15: 65384 Abort trap
Hi Alex,
I guess I missed the memo on 10.6!
I will have the lyx .deb and .info files floating around on a backup; can I use
those to recompile an older version of lyx?
Best,
Matt

Thanks so much for your help. I was able to downgrade to lyx-x11 1.6.10-45
using the older .deb file, without any trouble at all.
