[Flexradio] Audio Reverb

2006-05-26 Thread Brian Sherrod
Has anyone else noticed a very slight reverb in their transmitted audio? At first I thought it might be my outboard audio gear, a Behringer Tube mic-pre, tube Ultra-Q, and a tube Composer. I took everything out of line (physically) except the mic preamp, and still detect this. I am not talking a

Brian, Ground loops can cause what sounds like a low level reverb. What is your grounding system like? Have you tried listening the audio just before it enters the transmitter? This would be the cable plugging into the slot marked "To Line Out" on the SDR-1000. Try plugging that into a monitor

Mike, I think everyone does. From some earlier posts, I think this is characteristic of the DDS in the SDR-1000; some ratio ranges of output frequency/reference frequency are more spur prone than others and 6 meters is in an unfavorable range. Chris - AE6VK -Original Message- F
