David,
As I understand the SDR mic input, the mic slider is a software scaler.
It does not effect the input to the sound card. The higher the mic gain
on the SDR has to be in order to get a given power output, the worse the
signal to noise of the Delta 44 will be. In order to get the full

Is this a new 5000A? Mine came when new with the pins not inserted all the
way in on the power plug itself. After some head scratching I discovered
this and pushed them all the way in, which (duh) fixed the problem.
Fuse is internal inside the box.
Don't know if this will help, but was my exp
Flex 5000a will not turn on. Have 13.7 volts at the back (verified). But
unit will not turn on ...no Blue LED. Is there a fuse? Where?

The SVN Test version has a CAT offset feature that will resolve the issue you
have reported.

I have decided to try the Shuttle Pro 2 with my 5000A. The quick Start guide
refers to a spreadsheet of keyboard shortcuts at:
www.flex-radio.com/keymap.xls
It does not seem to be there anymore and I cannot find it abywhere on the
Flexradio site. Does anyone know where it is now?
Thanks
Pet
CW Flexers,
I've again made some significant changes to the QSK response. Let me
know of any questions or problems.
Available in the SVN w2rf branch.

That worked for me as well with MixW. MixW now shows the correct frequency on
the waterfall.
Do you know how to solve the 1kc difference when spotting? I use dxlabs
spotcollector and all my RTTY spots are off by 1kc.

Don,
The Flex radio receives a certain bandwidth of spectrum depending on
the sample rate. It is either 48, 96, or 192khz. That is what you see
in the Panadapter display.
A certain segment of that is demodulated depending on the mode,
usually a few khz. That is what is output to the Flex audio
Don,
If you mean what Ed Russell, W2RF, has added to his PowerSDR branch, it
means that he is passing the raw A/D values unfiltered and pre-AGC to VAC
(as opposed to the filtered/AGC'd signal as we do in the rest of the
PowerSDR versions.

I am not 100% sure because I don't know in what context the term was used, but
I assume that it means digitizing the RF waveform at its fundamental frequency
rather than mixing it down to 9 KHz "IF" before digitizing it. The SDR-1000
and FLEX-5000 do the later.

You're welcome George. I use an Audio-Technica AT-3035 condenser mic. into a
W2IHY 8 Band EQ directly into the Delta 44 input #3. I mute input #4 and
uncheck "stereo link" in the Monitor Mixer portion of the M Audio Delta Control
Panel. I use a footswitch into the back of the SDR to key the rad

My setup is Flex5000A under control of DXCommander, and audio via a pair of

If I set the sampling to 48000 in PowerSDR, MMTTY will decode ok on RX, but
