Good idea. Lots of people were unhappy that CW did not show up on the panadapter during transmit because of the way we did it before the guys in Texas rewrote the whole thing. I neither want nor desire to see it on the screen with the exception of looking at the keying sidebands during adjustment

What the other two excellent posts didn't say is this: Most digital modes are created by audio fed to the transceiver in some scheme. It isn't normally the job of the transceiver to interpret it during reception, audio is received and fed to a separate program for decoding. Likewise transmission

Flex 5K, PowerSDR 2.0.16. I have just noticed that although a DVM across the power supply terminals still shows 13.7 - 13.8 volts when I do key-down into a dummy load, Ctrl-Shift-I in PowerSDR shows the voltage dropping as low as 12.6. Is this OK? Nothing but a set of Anderson PowerPoles bet

I am having some RF / Audio distortion and Feedback on higher bands (above 20m) Very difficult to isolate, tried ferrites on the firewire and audio cables, Other HF radios (IC7800 and TS2000) don't seem to suffer from the problem. Has there been any procedure documented to track this down? Seem

Thanks, Dave. That helps. Connect the FLEX-5000 to a dummy load and see if you hear the distortion on another radio. If you don't (which is what I suspect), then you most likely have common mode RF currents on the coax connected to the F5K unless your shack in in the near field of the antenna
