Jim,
This is normal, logical if you think about it.
On receive, there is a pair of high-speed audio streams (the I Q signals)
sent over the firewire from the radio to the PC. These cover a range of
frequencies around the VFO frequency. The width of this range of
frequencies is limited by the
Your right of course Bill. After the HK0 quit, I thought about it some more
on my end and came to your conclusion. I should have used the old brain
before putting the post on the reflector.

Nope, NB is off, NR is off. But that is what it sounds like.

Tim, does that also apply to the 3K? My problem is different in regards to
firewire and power up. Apparently on occasion the firewire is not
recognized on boot, and PSDR does not see the 3K. Power cycling does not
help, and requires re-boot of the computer. The firewire card was changed

Try selecting a smaller DSP RX buffer size (like 1024 or less).

Thanks in advance.

Tim -
This startup problem occurs immediately after my machine is booted up, so
there's no opportunity for hibernation. Also my power management is set to
High Performance.
The problem seems to be caused by initial difference between the default sample
rate in Flex Radio Global Settings
I will try setting to 48K and see if it starts on the first try. I normally
run at 96K myself. Also running W7 64 bit.

Thanks Tim, but that didn't make any difference. The magic limit seems
to be around S9. At about that or under, the audio is fine, but over S9
and the popping starts. NB/NR are off.

Thanks for all of the suggestions.
Turns out a database reset cured the problem.
Something must have gotten corrupted.

Is there any plans to allow for the rearrangement of the PowerSDR screen. I
would like to see the two meters (RX1 and RX2)on the top part of the screen so
that I can view both at the same time. For example: VFO A, RX 1 meter, VFO
Steps, RX 2 meter, VFO B I guess the way the screen is setup now
