I just commited a YASim patch to fix the approach lift problem I
mentioned this morning. The 747, in particular, behaves much more
sanely on approach. (But remember the fuel load! The model now
starts at only 50% tanks, but that's still quite heavy for an
approach).
The patch requires new airc

Uggh...no. And I was so sure I hadn't seen any updates to simgear in the last
couple days. :-) Just checked and there was that one patch to sky.cxx.

Actually, what we have had was not an Easter egg, but a surprise
improvement that might someday be the norm. Program Easter eggs are
supposed to be hidden and activated by an arcane sequence of operator
inputs. So, what should we consider adding into the program to be our
first official egg, a par

I run RH 7.3, plib cvs, simgear cvs, fgfs cvs and base cvs, and use NVidia
drivers and don't experience any of these problems. I suspect that your
solutions are not entirely necessary, maybe when you upgraded you might have
forgot that the XFree devel rpm probably sticks in a new libGL wh

I mentioned this problem already several weeks ago but nobody was interested
in it. Now as the subject comes up again I'd second the desire for a
fallback to the glider - as we were used to have before for very long time,

All your ideas are good ideas, but they will show up in the program as
soon as there will be more contributors to the project.
