After hanging for about 5 minutes it ended in a segfault, and the only
reason i said it was a route manager crash is because it happened while
using it and that was the only non tested component that was running at
the time.

Where's the indication that it was a "crash", when you say it only "hang

The AI scenario files can define any number of AI objects. The default files
you see are all "demo" files, just to get you starte

Hi,
I am experimenting with structural icing and am hacking on a little nasal
script that checks outside temperature and dewpoint to guess if the aircraft
is currently in a potential icing area and pack some ice on the surfaces.
To get ice on the wings one thing is needed besides low temperature

Blender is awesome. I just imported a T6(Raytheon) built in Blender
using the ac3d format. I haven't gotten to the animations yet, I too was
wondering how/if they work work. My 3ds models from blender didn't keep
the texture mappings.

Hey Fred, are the procedures that you and Emmanuel have had to go through
to convert the X-Plane scenery fairly straightforward? Is it something

No idea about fgrun, but the current fps display can be enabled from the FG
menus - it's a checkbox in the renderin

The author of the conversion said that it is reasonably fast with a GeForce 440

optimised to group these models with the same texture. Jon changed his export
procedure for that. And objects are shared

This is really impressing - does anyone have a recommendation which
graphics card to use in order to run FlightGear with so many textured
objects at a reasonable frame rate - without disabling any other visual
effects ?

Torsten, I know that this answer is too detailed for you. But there may
be some other people reading this:
All objects are in Stockill's model database (and the terrain has to be
downloaded from the FG scenery server, if not already installed).

One thing you could do is to include a Nasal script that sets
