Hi there, I believe that I was able to solve the minimap bug (bug #2506)
and created a patch file. I'll attach the patch file in this email and post
it on the SourceForge board.
Since this is my first time doing so, I believe that I may have some errors
or issues in the patch so I apologize in
Bug #2139 (Cannot move map in editor ) looks like a bug I could potentially
work on but at the moment, I am working on bug #2506. (We are supposed to
select multiple bugs for the proposal of my Software Engineering class). If
nobody minds a potentially long wait for this bug fix, may I work on it?

I was finally able to get the project up and running on an IDE but
strangely enough, cannot get the opening video to run when I run the code
from the IDE. I've downloaded the actual game FreeCol 0.10.7 from the
website and when I run that normally, I do see the video playing. It could
