Hi All,
I want to

Then the server probably doesn't have permission to read the passwd
db, or shadow file.

Guys, a bit of a problem, I now have a complied version of 0.9.3 running on
FreeBSD 5.0, test account works fine via the users file. I've added a

Hi,
I noticed a similar problem with my ADSL (PPPoAtm and PPPoE) and Cisco NAS.
The port attribute is not an integer but something like 1/0/0/20.120.
My problem is with the accounting, because the field in the DB is an integer.

You get that error when you don't have the mysql server running.
So if the server is running, you need to check the host firewall.

It is more a MySQL question than a Radius question.
but the answer is:
check the mysql.sock in your /tmp directory
It happens in the configuration/installation time that files go to one
place or another when you build the MySQL server.
If you dont want to reinstall everything just create a link
