library part could do a lot better!
here are the things i want to add:
-show albumcovers
-show artist/album/genre/runtime,... from audiofiles
-show moviecover + info
-show image thumbnail

mplayer uses the win32 quicktime codec for SD trailers and ffmpeg's h264
codec for HD. i don't see anything illegal in that.
