Lift up the laptop and rotate it around the vertical axis or tilting

I don't buy that. I think it's more likely that Mac users don't care or like

Hi,
I've just bought an external 120 GB Hard Disk. It mounts in OS9 but not in
OSX 10.28 or OSX 10.2 (a clean install).
It has two partitions.
I have got it to mount in OSX but unreliably, and then dropping one volume
shortly after. Now not at all.
I checked the volume structure in OS 9 with

Ok, I test drove the Wall street PowerBook that is for sale for $200
today.
The date and time is not holding, so I assume it needs a Pram battery.

Sorry if this is not 100% related to powerbooks (I have a pismo, though).
As a recent resident of the USA, the time is coming again to do that
harrowing task known as 'tax return'. Last year I paid an exorbitant
sum to get it done by a professional who seemed to just type the

company whose name I don't recall] are both available. I know that
TurboTax runs in 9 still, I don't know if TaxCut is OS X only or not.

I ran both on Macintosh; Tax Cut for TY 2001 and Turbo Tax for TY 2002. I
prefer Turbo Tax, because the interview feature seemed better than Tax Cut.
I also prefer TT for the New York state return, which is one of the most
complicated returns.
Others will like Tax Cut, personal preference.

I have the same setup and Panther is definitely faster then it's
predecessors. I would check for hardware issues.

This may be good advice if your returns are simple and straightforward.
However, if your situation is complex, or if you're self-employed --
particularly if you have a home based business --

G'day,
I have a PISMO running OSX 10.2.8 and I've just splashed out and bought
a .Mac email account.
I'd like to somehow import my address list from Hotmail into my .Mac
account and kill off the MS spam generator once and for all.
I noticed in Mac Address Book that you can import vCards and

For sure, that's the first thing to do if you haven't had it on
external power for an extended period lately.

I found my Wallstreet in a pawn shop. It was $300 with a nice
carrying case, the video adaptor, charger, and a battery that holds a
good charge. And a working PRAM battery. They wanted $350, but we got
it at $300 with a nifty pool cue. Check the pawn shops.

I think the Pismo is the best power book that Apple has built IMHO
It still keeps up with the OS Panther runs OK. OS 9 is
faster-please lets not debate that
I look at what Apple has come out with and so far I just don't see
what I feel is worth the price.

I want to use the Orinoco Gold card on a Lombard with OS X (10.2.8).
Is that a good combination? Where can I find the drivers?
