Sorry for the confusion...I meant DVD +R...also the +RW'sFunny thing...Both computers will play home burned DVD-R but NOT the DVD-RW format. Yes, by desktop, I meant a Phillips set top burner that uses the + format dvd's...also an Apex player along w/a Polaroid 7" screen portable player.
