The last model of Powerbook that was able to run OS9 not in classic-mode was the G4 Titanium 1ghz. Another way of saying this is that this is the last model that can boot from a version of OS9. I had assumed that because of this I could somehow install *only* OS9 on this machine. Maybe I'm wrong a

If you are back in there pulling stuff like your processor card, you really should check your HD cable at the connection to the hard drive, it is possible to have misaligned the plug and a pin is bent or you are off by one pair of pins. Just 2 cents worth. Good luck on the revival! -- G-Books
