Might be a Postscript error. I traced the problem to a Postscript font that
we
carried over from OS 9. Once I got a new version
of the font, the problem went away.
No OS 9 fonts carried just straight forward OS X

When booting from the install CD, you can go in the Apple
menu when the installer is loaded and select the option to
change the Admin password, but you won't have to enter

it probably means that the power connector has came

finding none, I am really DISSAPOINTED, with APPLE's quality of
products.

I have just been informed of someone bumping a 500MHz IceBook
from 66MHz bus to 100MHz by soldering a resister ?!
Is it possible to do this on a Lombard 400MHz ?
Any other (worthwhile) speed increase possible ?

makes virtually no difference to system speed anyway.

Lombard 400 with OS X.3.5
Whenever it goes to sleep it doesn't wake up whatever
one presses or does.

when I installed a 3rd party Combo CD-RW/DVD in place

I am looking at buying an iBook and found one with the above spec
but the guy says he has to send it back Apple as it suffers from a
motherboard bug where the screen stops working.
