Here's an example- the ipod. Every mp3 is stored on the ipod in a hidden, or
'invisible' folder named ipod_control (or controller, i cant remember) and
then in a folder named music, then in a series of folders starting with F0#.

Hey all. I have a 333 Bronze (lombard), with 320 ram. What are my options, if
any, to upgrade it to a faster processor? Keeping in mind that 333 is plenty
fast and i don't really *need* an upgrade...so its price would really
determine whether or not I purchase anything. Thanks guys!

You could try to complain again, of course, but I don't think I remember
anybody being able to get his hinges replaced after his warranty was out.

Some of the early Bronze Lombard machines had a faulty processor or

Hey there,
I think its fair to say that I went into this process of installing mac
os X, which I've had nothing but problems with in the past, in a positive
mind set. But after installing it on my laptop, I have officially lost faith
in Apple's ability to make a functional operating
Hey there,
As most of you know, I'm that guy who still claims apple had it right in

Having said that, I might be ready to take the plunge into mac OS X!

Hey guys, anyone with a reduced battery and doesn't know about resetting it

Thank you for helping me out with the screen problem. Now the only issue my
bronze has is a sleeping issue. Unlike the insomnia that I hear some other
laptops have, mine is a sound sleeper- it wont wake up without a restart!
When I close the lid or choose 'sleep', it goes to sleep just
Yeah, I dont have the origional memory, I bought this from a dood in

G-Books list info:
Hey, i'm buying a powerbook g3 lombard, which is the reason that I originally
joined this list, and it turns out that the battery might not work too well.
This is the situation:
He hasn't used it too much, and just kept it stored for over a year. I
assume that it wasn't fully charged.
Hey guys. I just decided to check my mailbox and I have over thirty messages.
I was good though, I read all of them before answering. And cause I'm new to
the list, I had to ask something...
DO YOU ALWAYS TAKE THIRTY POSTS ABOUT SOME ISSUE BEFORE ENOUGH PEOPLE TELL
YOU TO STOP, BEFORE YOU
I bet microsoft is behind it! (After all, it has made some deal with the
devil- hence it is the only one unaffected.) That's really weird I'll ask
around to see if that's even technically possible. In the least, its a great
prank if one could harness it.
Yeah, I don't really have anything

I'm sorry, but after reading david's e-mail, I just couldn't stop cracking up!
I'm sure this will start a flame war about somebody's Mac512k that is not
obsolete, but those of us in the real world need to have machines which will
run modern software at modern speeds. The rest of Mayberry may
