Has anyone had a problem with their screen flickering like there's a
candle behind it? It's just annoying enough to bother me when I use
my iBook and just disconcerting enough I wonder if it isn't a sign
the screen's dying...

. Glad I found out differently,
so far. I'm not so sure they were wrong -- the keyboards *aren't*
interchangeable. But, again, you can take the G3's to the G4.
Anyhow, there you go. Hope that helps someone at some point.

Another rant from a so-called professional
as soon as it seems pretty stable.
Anybody know what that latest version of the G3 iBook would be with
the particularly good keyboard?
Thanks!

considering taking the pliers to it, but in any event, it's a little screwy and
I'll agree a replacable cord would be A Good Thing.

[attached] screen resolution and extra RAM, give or take. For line in, I only
need to grab DV, and that's a Firewire thing. I'm not sure why else I'd be

I'm using it (as I've spammed already) on my iBook G4 daily. It really makes
the iBook a great buy. I'm just annoyed that 8 meg VRAM'd iBooks can't run the
hack, so my iBook 500 is stuck mirroring.
Use at your own risk, etc. ;^)
