The Airport card (old) in my Pismo had been acting up, failing to make its presence known, 8 times out of 10 restarts. I'm not sure if its a faulty card or a faulty internal physical connection. So I replaced it with a Linksys 802.11g PCMCIA card. A bit expensive here in the UK at c £70 but I

Binatone card in lieu of Airport

2004-01-05 Thread Tony Coult
Because my Airport card connection seems faulty, I've been on the lookout for a PC card substitute for my Pismo. Saw a card in a sale at Maplin's for only £12 and bought it on the off chance that it might be a badged card that would work in the Mac. It's a Binatone WL1000 and it has a little
