i am embarased to admit to it but i did something very stupid while
installing tiger in my pismo and i erased all the data pertaining the
only user, namely me. i thought: no big deal. i'' reinstal from the
external hd. to my horror, the hd failed and all the data is lost.
simple enough, but how do i resurrect the erased data? what do i
tell data rescue to look for? if you want email me directly. i don't

the information on the drive was not erased. for some reason i could
not see it. when i tried to install os 9 again, sure enough, the hd
shoed up with all its contents. the only problem was that i could not
