I too, have used Panther on my Pismo since it came out up to 10.3.6 and has
worked flawlessly. Prior to that I was using Jaguar from its introduction to
10.2.8 and it also worked flawlessly. So maybe the drive?

drive which I originally formatted with two partitions. I would like to
reformat the external drive to one partition only. How do I do that?
