Are you following the directions properly from Apple? Are you wanting to
move files from the Pismo to the Qs? The order should be QS on. Shut down
PB. Connect firewire cable. Start the PB while holding down the 'T' key.
The PB should appear as a drive to the QS. Then you could drag any files

I bought in 2000 or 2001. I don't know whether this is equivalent to a

when i installed os9 it was from my original disc, ver. 9.0.4. after
spending a lot of time transferring files under osX to the new os9
partition, i then updated the os9 to 9.1(and then 9.2) as soon as i did this
the os 9 partition mounted the firewire drive and everything is fine now.
