Hi Caleb, I have a mini and a G4 iBook and the mini runs faster than the book. There is indeed only one RAM slot and it's hard to get to. But more RAM would help. I suspect there are accumulated cache files that could be fouling things us. If he's using Tiger then those cron jobs get run

Well, I mentioned the RAM upgrade, but he wants to hold out. As far as system resources, everything looks normal. Nothing is really hogging the CPU or memory. I didn't even think of checking the permissions, because it never was an issue on my Linux boxes, or my Lombard, so I never thought about
