Tim, Yes, it was very responsive, very quick. Some of the Spotlight searches took a little longer, on the Pismo, than I've seen elsewhere but overall very fast. All accounts I've heard indicate that Tiger will operate even faster, on most systems, that all previous Xes. I'm psyched... Bruce

The Apple site goes into very little detail on which GPUs give full support. I have a brand-new PowerBook 12 (64MB nVidia 5200) so I'm guessing it is fully supported, but my friend has an 800MHz iBook G4 and I don't know whether I should recommend the update for her or not. Also, my 1GHz Sawtooth
