Yes, the 120mm fan is a bit louder. lol I forgot how loud it is because the slot fan is 60 cfm and it's rattling the CPU heat sink fan. The 120mm fan is 110 cfm. I forget how loud, honestly. I'll be doing audio work, so this may be an issue too. Sigh. Any tips on the wiring? =) On Sep 16, 9:12

With the 5400/180s AND the 5500s ANY of the 4-slot-USB-cards I tried out caused troubles. On the other hand, any of the 2-slot works fine (about 10 $ U.S.). You can add a hub then - makes sense anyway, because the slots are on the back. These computers are limited to USB 1.1, AFAIK. Lars in

unless you are going to use a new or nearly new drive, chances are very high that the drive itself, NOT the interface, will be what determines the speed of data transfer. older drives can be as low as 5 MB/s sustained internal transfer rate. only the newest drives will have sustained internal
