I would verify that you are using all the same speed memory and same
latency. Mixing different chips could cause problems. You might also want to
clean the slots and test each stick individually using AHD (Apple Hardware
Diagnosis) if you don't have the CD that came with the computer

I agree with this assessment as well. I think this kind of setup would make
things a lot less confusing. I've had many times when I've posted something
that was generic but because it was an eMac or iMac I was told to post on that
list, yet it could have happened on a Power Mac as well.
