If you unplug the USB headset. All sounds will revert back to the
default sound card. you have to go back in those options and re
configure the headset as default again. Its not a problem with the
headset, but just doing what it only knows.

the XP Volume Control, go to the Options menu, and select Properties
there should be a list of devices to configure. On my Windows XP
desktop my USB headphones show up as HP Digital Headset or something

firstly, thats not enough information. we need to know what version of
windows you are running, for a start. rs games will not come up for me
either, and i am on windows 8. i have tested running it compatability
mode for windows 7, and running as admin, but no help there. it just
does not load up.
