game page and entered them into the mush z client and waited for the
connection to be established. I blieve iwas able to connect to 2 of them,

Hi tom.
i totally agree on the story angle there tom, however in the case of
vampires and warewolves it counts even more. The field has been so heavily
worked over by fiction writers, (especially after twilight and other such
popular series), that to be really interesting such a story has to

I agree on the topic structure being good in forums, though in fairness
deleting messages in a thread I'm not interested in on a mailing list isn't

Just download the update program from the section on the nielsbauer site and

Keith,
The thing to remember is that most muds are hobby games at best, and
most of them are only up for a few months before being shut down
forever. My guess is that at least two thirds of the games on mud

ten percent have

On the other hand, if the forum is set up correctly, you can subscribe to

Yes, audiogames.net also has that feature, though bare in mind it doesn't
actually send posts to your inbox, just a mail with a link to view the new
reply on the forum, which is actually why i don't use that feature myself
since I just find it quicker and easier to log in and check manually.
I prefer Email lists like this one because I don't have to search topics and

Well, I think I've answered my own question on Storm8 ID's. It looks like if
you set it up in one game, it automatically links your ID in all the other
games, I found 2 others where I can access the settings tab with VoiceOver and
they already showed my created ID, so I assume this applies to
Hi Charles,
Yes, if someone posted wherever they felt like on a forum posts would

Have to agree with you there. PunBB seems to be the easiest forum I've

Hi Dark,
Well, not necessarily. You say due to Twilight and other such popular

to have appealing characters and a different take on things. While I

Hi Thomas,
The only major game release I'm aware of in the past while has been The
Inquisitor audio adventure. It has an iOS version along with PC and Mac and can
be compared to old-style point-and-click adventures for the sighted, such as
those from Sierra Online or Lucas Arts.

There seems to be a rather serious bug in the IOS version. It works fine on the

Hi Zack,
I see. Well, scratch that idea then, because at this time of the month
the checkbook is quite low, and I'm not sure if I want to risk 19
Euros on a game I may or may not like. Although, the game does sound
interesting from what I've heard about it so far.

Ah. A possible sale lost, at least for the time being, due to the lack of a
demo.
