you just install the program. Then you open the game runner and choose
to open an adventure. You will have to review the screen with the mouse

Hi Keith,
There are a couple of choices here. The first is the Adrift Runner,
which is the official Windows application, and there is Scare. Scare
is a command line program which is more accessible, but lacks some
features such as sound effects and the combat system doesn't fully
work in Scare.

Hmmm...that's odd. I just downloaded the generator zip file from the
Adrift website, and it opened with no problem. Try downloading it
again, and if possible try a different zip utility. If that doesn't

The two games I'm currently writing are using 3.9 of Adrift which is
free. If you use 4.0 then you can create up to ten rooms I think. But to
answer your question, you need not register first unless you game will
be bigger.

to do so I have to set jaws on say all with the insert + s key until it

Subject: [Audyssey] Adrift Text Adventure
Hi,
I just downloaded the Adrift text adventure creation system. While it
seems to work well with JAWS, I'm still a little confused. I'm attempting to
create an RPG style game, but creating rooms is a bit confusing. The manual
is in .pdf instead of text format and Adobe Reader doesn't seem to
