I suppose you are corect the lever isn't exactly a secret, but it is
quite a bit different than what you expect to find. Everyone playing
SOD for the first time and find that lever are expecting an elivator and
not a lever.
As for level editors David Greenwood has explained the
security code which would
give you the ability to modify it.

This is not correct. In most cases it's a good idea to kill the blob
because he might be holding a wafer or even the security chip you need
to get out of area 2.
Also, by flushing the toilet you have access to the extra ammo.

In short, keep practicing to kill cyborgs, blobs, etc. Sure they come
fast at you but if you practice you can get some strategies to get
around them or to kill them.
