Kudos to Buzz Howard, who went 12-3 to finish first in Pick 'Em over the
weekend. Tying for second at 11-4 were Allen Lamb, Jong Limb, and Woody
Bass. And a five-way tie for third included Bob Cumming, Brad Reckamp,
Charlie Simpson, Jason Schmidt, and JunoGator.

I don't ever say "never" ...
but if we beat FSU (is#20 inBCS) and Alabama (is #1 in BCS) then our strength will increase greatly.
I don't understand what will happen with the Big 12 South. THAT and USC are the real problems
http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/conferences/standings?confId=4
I can see absolutely no scenario barring us if we win out, especially now that
Ole Miss is ranked in one poll, that loss does not look so horribly bad any
more.

I dont think USC-west will be a factor this go around. Its funny how they
suddenly want a Playoff though.

Is anyone looking to unload a few tickets to this weekend's Florida-FSU game?
Trying to possibly dig up some in the actual Florida section.
If so, please let me know.
Thanks,

So... if we win out, there is NO SCENARIO that would deny us the NC game?

Bama and uf
I agree. Although they looked unstoppable against TT Saturday night, I think we
would be fairly evenly matched. With the Stoop's Troops connection and the
fact that he turned us down for the head coaching position, it should make for
an awesome game.

I am concerned by the number of coaches that want to vote Texas ahead
of Oklahoma.
If Oklahoma wins out impressively, and we beat Bama, OK will be #1 or
#2.
Don't look now, but Ole Miss is ranked - at least in the AP...

There is an argument that loss to an unranked team at home (UF) is worse than a
road loss (Southern Cal) or a neutral site loss to a ranked team (Oklahoma).
I will also root for Okie State just in case.

Really, meteors notwithstanding, being the #2 team in the AP, if we win out,
all the other polls should fall in line too. They're still the most
prestigious poll even if they're not in the formula. I'm sure everyone looks
to them before they fill out their ballots.

Yes. I enjoyed watching the game on TV. We beat 'em up in their own gym in
an upset.

Could be because they are YOUNG!!! We will have to be patient with this
team they can be good, but they really have a lot of maturing to do.

Im saying I think they have a long way to go still
if that's how they have been playing thus far this
year. its still really early though. but the look
in Billy D's eyes you can kinda tell he knows its
gonna be a long year too. He and Meyer need to
work on their poker faces for sure.
