Hi DJ,
With the gtk-hid-gui there is a ~/.pcb/preferences file.
Appending "Media = A4" gives no result for the ps-hid (it remains on the
"Letter" format).
Reading back the ~/.pcb/preferences gives that the appended ("media =
A4") line is removed.

Hi Michael,
Have a look at:
http://www.pcblibraries.com/downloads/files/Mounting%20Holes.zip
I have already drawn some of them as pcb footprints (MTG300_*.fp ..
MTG470_*.fp).
If you want them, just say yes.

And I think that the representation of, for instance, a resistor should
be based on some sort of a "locale" scheme (resistor-1.sym versus
resistor-2.sym, same goes for fuse, capacitor, npn and so on).
This has to do with user and local preferences.

Hi Duncan,
AFAICT, it's a bit more complicated, the .sch is the result of the
writing of gschem objects/structures to a file (in a defined syntax).
Have a look at: http://www.brorson.com/gEDA/gEDA_Structures_20050108.pdf

Hi all,
I think Gene is right.
In the git.gpleda repo "lm7912-1.sym" gives:
Pin #1 -> IN
Pin #2 -> GND
Pin #3 -> OUT
Which is just like any TO220 LM78xx would be :-(

Hi all,
Normally I use an A1 sheet for schematics which I print on A3 format paper,
or for schematics with a few really small components: I use an A3 sheet and
print on A4 paper.

Hi all,
As one can see in the picture (made by Christoph Lechner), there are also
netnames and pin numbers shown.
This could be a handy feature for pcb when doing manual routing without a
netlist (no rat lines).

Hi Peter and all,
We could use green or yellow for the dot (connected) or red for the
square (not connected).

BTW: We can't help the color blind in any other way than making the
difference clear by using different shapes.
