OK. Before we hold a vote on general I think we should hold a vote in logging
service, although I really don’t know what would happen if it didn’t pass.
Unfortunately, the board isn’t going to be happy since the only sane place to
have that vote is on the private list. Most of the PMC members

Apologies for falling down as a member of the reboot team. Thank you to
Thorsten for trying so hard for so long. Glad to see the code survive.

Ralph,
Sounds fair to me. Based on what we did for CommonsRDF, I'd recommend that
we hold a vote on the general@incubator list indicating the intent to
transfer log4cxx from Incubator to Logging. The steps are pretty close on

The attempt to reboot Log4cxx has not had the hoped for results. Under normal
circumstances the project would probably be terminated at Apache. However, this
project came to the incubator from the Logging Services project in hopes that
it would be able to generate more activity since there were

Hi John,
I suggest that you change the setting regarding the maturity question in
the Trafodion report
from:

to:
Nearing graduation

The Apache Incubator is the entry path into the ASF for projects and
codebases wishing to become part of the Foundation's efforts.
I added Jinjiang Zhao, guessing at a username. Is that the actua username?

Thanks Daniel, I should have thought of that, since that is how I noticed

So, then the question should have been;
Are we ok with podlings using GH "Issues" instead of ASF-hosted issue
tracker?
Are we ok
Hi Niclas,
let me take the Beam example:
- Issues are on Apache Jira (not GitHub issues)
- We have a pull request. If a discussion happens on the mailing list
cover than specific to the pull request, then, we start the discussion
on the mailing list.
- We don't consider pull request comments
