Trying to display point in place of display name.
Geoserver openlayers showing the correct output(showing only dots) but
when I use that layer on world wnid it shows display name instead of dots.

layer names are case sensitive. As you have noted Oracle identifiers
default to upper case. You are also using GTEST as your workspace, and
this is your namespace prefix.

No, this is not possible, but it would not really increase performance.
Sometimes simplifying a geometry produces an error, you must use the
next finer level instead.
But if you like, you can add a point geometry column to your postgis
table and switch in the SLD.
