It is decrease the surface tension and small debrises of wax and tissues.
Also sections better become flat.
Adding of Tween 20 is necessary for all type of sections: for HE, HC, IHC.

with very good results.
Do not forget rinse slides at 10-15 secs in DW
with 1-2 drop of glacial acetic acid before neutral
red and after this, because this dye have red color
at pH 6.

very small for microwave heating and this water
cannot be heated adequately. Paraffin is transparent
for microwave and therefore instead drying of slides
you will have a damaged magnetron.
Never dry paraffin sections in MWO!
