Vanilla to me is standard rules of play. Maps don't matter IMHO. Instant respawn is NOT part of the rules of play IMHO as well. That's the issue. Perhaps I'm coming down to hard on a server owner who advertises Vanilla with Instant Respawn on by calling him an ass, but I can also see several

we've never had instant respawn or no-crits enabled, we've run default servers since the beginning. you can check hlsw and see what plugins we are running and what respawn and crit settings we have. you just choose to make up a story about my server and didn't realize I belonged to this

LOL Log in man. I was playing Steel when that happened. Look at your player log and you will see that I was on. You have instant respawn on. I'm not making crap up. Tell me, what tags do you have on? Either case, you are still advertising your server as vanilla with instant respawn on.

with sourcemod this makes it hard for them to do that. there are many plugins that will modify the game, but will not trigger anything to force the tags. you can turn weapon crits off with a cvar and that will force a tag on the server, however you can get a SM plugin to do the same this that
