Alfred,
I followed to the T what you said about the Fast downloads or custom map
content downloads and I have a slight problem with it.
I put several custom maps on my CS:S server. And while my cs_assault_mini
downloads everything fine, when I put iv_scoutzknivez on there it doesn't
download
Post your .res files so we can see what's wrong with them.

Hi all
Maybe I'm wrong, but I think the old .res files are replace by new .lst
files. I found some automatically generated .lst files in
[ServerRoot]\cstrike\DownloadLists\ (on Win). Their content looks like this:
de_dust.lst
maps\de_dust.bsp
maps\graphs\de_dust.ain
maps\de_dust.nav

You need to create a res file for each map that has custom
sprites/sounds/whatever, to do that, you simple make a file like this (say the
map's called ns_tehmap.bsp, name the file ns_tehmap.res in /maps);
maps/ns_tehmap.bsp (technically not required as this is always automatically
Thanks alot lyndak,
So it works the same as HLDS res files.Didn't know with some of these
changes going on and wasn't gonna go thorugh all that to make it maybe
work and maybe not.So thanks for the help its much appreciated. Now its
time to see how many folks like scoutzknivez on the server :/
