It doesn't. If the server is operating with sv_lan 1, if you try to join via
Hamachi, the server tells you that you need to have a class C address.
I have to retest, but I believe it rejects anything other than a class C

Have a look at my script again. It DOES take care of files still being

I am using fuser to accomplish this. If the demo file isn't finished,
it will still have a process owning it, which fuser can detect. My
script only move the files without any owner, thus leaving the

Hamachi operates on 5.0.0.0/8 and I'm pretty sure it works just fine on
sv_lan 1.

So I was having a conversation with a friend on how hlds claims that sv_lan
only works with Class C Address space. This is an epic fail if it is indeed
true. RFC 1918 does define private address space in Classes A, B, and C.
Thus a LAN Party could easily use any of the following private address

Yeah, same here, seg faults but eventually starts up, just like after
the last update.
So problem hasn't been fixed.

No it doesn't, that's the problem, you have to sort list of demos by
modification time in that folder and move n-1 demos, so last (currently
recorded) will stay where it should be.

You just forgot two rather important settings:
tv_password "YourSuperDuperSecretPasswordHere"
(in case you only want to record to a file and not provide live access
to SourceTV)
tv_autorecord 1 // Automatically record every match. Takes effect
after a mapchange.

Somewhere deep in the code you should be able to intercept the

to hear the voices without the ingame sound, when you play your sourcetv

You'll still hear the voices but not the game sounds.
What I wonder is if there's a way to separate the voices between themselves,

Srctv records voice in its demos, yes. Separating it programmatically would
be a pain in the butt. The best I can think of is start the game and play
the demo from the command line. Mute all game sounds and only have voice
playing. Record the audio being played. There is a CVAR to close the game
