have to be done on Friday 90% of the time. Fridays are busy days for
the servers and I'm guessing I'm not the only admin that would argue
doing them on Monday would be a lot nice and less stressful. I'm not

screen session or not. That's not even a factor, just so you know. And
it's also not a question of the server being out-of-date, it's just
that the -autoupdate makes the server restart (and try to update)
