Guys just incase this hasn't been posted.
Someone has come up with a bandaid for the amx problem. They have
recompiled it for metamod 1.17, sadly, its using 2.3 series glibc's
which not many of our servers (well at least mine) are running.
I am working on compiling amx myself now
the mysql module is the only one I use that I can load without the
server crashing.

Umm, we run a league and our servers run AMX (latest, non-beta), Metamod
(latest) and have no problems.
Our AMX script uses the MySQL and UDP modules if that helps anyone

Using a mix of Dopefish's binaries and the optimised binaries, I've
managed to get AMX. WC3 etc working nicely again. I'm testing stability at
the moment and I plan to put these up

have done the same thing to each one, not sure why this is happening.

Try removing each plugin one at a time to see which one is the cause of
the problem. MetaMod has a good backwards compatibility mechanism but
perhaps one
Must be AdminMod crashing it then as that's the only thing I've got their.

Metamod 1.17
AMX 0.9.6j

AMX does it - and that's the only plugin I have.
Is there anyway of getting AMX to release some kind of update fast?
Cheers,

People are reporting that AMX works (well Peter Holcroft did), perhaps
you need a different AMX version? (or use Admin Mod :)

Ok, so I've done this. Yes, AdminMod does report itself as version 5:9,
with MetaMod as 5:10. After it finishes loading all CVARs/Data, it
summarily crashes, no matter what plugin(s) I have loaded at startup.
The only plugin that doesn't have this problem is Cheating-Death, which

I have upgraded to MM 1.17, I have AMX .96j.
It would not work for me UNTIL I created the config.ini file for MM.
Try it.
Also noted that ALL of the new .so's are chmod 644 by default.
