The funny thing is that IBM only hides the reason. I am able to identify

I use Filezilla to move files from my Mac to z and back. The file gets the
HLQ of the 'remote site'. make sure that the file name fits the z
rules (dots as separators of up to 8 characters each) and select the
transfer type from the top menu.
