I did mentioned the need to have an allocation free TMP procedure. However,
if the OP can't login, and do not have sich proc, he can see what is wrong
using console (JES) commands. Fixing the issue is possible using native
edit commands.

Dfdss in general is not ftp freindly. When we faced that in a large data
movement project, we used xmit to convert the file format to xmt on one
side and rexyeive it on the other side.

I have a sort filed of (1,2,ch,a) and sum flelds =(3,4,zd,5,6,zd). there
are many input records with same sort field value. I would expect to have a
single record in the output. however, I get two. what am i missing?
