If you don't have the compiler library, you can't use "normally" compiled
REXX execs.
The compiled execs on the S-disk are exceptions. Somehow the VM lab got
permission to ship and use a special(?) version of the compiler library, and
these compiled execs do not call EAGRTPRC but DMSRTPRC.

Or, if you don not have an active system, you can find it in the CP Messages

Well, when I try to invoke the compiled version of MAILIT, I get:
DMSEXI240E Alternate exec processor "EAGRTPRC" not found
Is this because it's compiled? There are many compiled versions of EXECs that
come with CMS that work fine.

I guess if I interpreted the instructions correctly it would work the first
time. The installation procedures say: Integrated 3270 Console. This is my
first install on a zSeries and I selected the Operating System Messages window
on the HMC. I'm used to it being referred to as the Integrated Con
Hello Frank,
No that is the way SENDFILE works. Either as an attachment or in the body of
the email, but not both.

I will be out of the office starting 05/08/2009 and will not return until
06/08/2009.
I will respond to your message when I return.
I think the DVD defaults to SYSG - so just make sure you have the Integrated
3270 console window up before you IPL from the DVD. Although I thought I
remembered an normal IPL screen to start the DVD install, including
LOADPARM.. this was on a z10 last week.

No, you didn't overlook anything in SENDFILE.

When installing from DVD there is no LOADPARM field. Or if there is I'm missing
it :)

You can enter CONSSYSG in the Loadparm field, then you bypass the SAPL
screen.
(with simply SYSG in Loadparm SAPL will be started and you must enter
CONS=SYSG in SAPL and press F10 to load).

'1010' indicates that the console is not available. The loadparm should
be your console address.
