I downloaded LinuxDelhiLogo.png from ILUG-D/downloads and am trying to open it using
gimp 1.2.1 but it says "Unknown file type". Same is the case with xv 3.10a.

Windows 2000 machine with IE-6.0 and it is asking me if I want to 'Open' it or 'Save'

Try using the right mouse button and 'Save As...' option and let me know if it still
