I doubt whether PCQLinux8.0 comes with a kernel
pre-configured to access NTFS mount points. It is based
on RHL 8 which doesn't have a stock kernel for accessing
NTFS.

1. You can mount ntfs partition - "mount -t ntfs
/dev/hd? /mnt/winxp"(give the values according to your
system, check the man pages in case of doubt.)You can
put this command in your /etc/fstab file so that the
partition is mounted at boot time.
2. Your Linux box may not be optimally co
pretty much straight forward...
like you have other windows partitions vfat/msdos etc...
mount /dev/hdc /mnt/win98
mount /dev/hdx /mnt/winxp
generally the partition type is auto selected, if it doesnt then try
this...
mount -t vfat /dev/hdc /mnt/win98
mount -t ntfs /dev/hdx /mnt/winxp

Regarding the speed if u r using xwindows then u get more RAM probably 128 MB
And with NTFS partition u need to mount it first so as to access it
