Greetings ( + )!( + ) You should obtain the Free application mactracker which will show how much memory your iMac can handle. When I checked on a couple of the early iMacs' it showed that you can put in a 1Gb memory sim but the system will only recognize 512Mb Cheers Harry San Jose, Ca

I am trying to get my G3 to recognize two new sticks of 512. They are out of an identical machine and I have followed all the instructions but to no avail. Is there a secret to this thing that I have missed? I'm running 10.4 as is the machine they are coming out of. I'm feeling pretty damn
