8.1, WebMessageing and IIS
Lets see if I can post without
being told to get off the list and leave everyone alone. I found an
article that describes this somewhat except using IIS and Windows Media Server
on port 80. I am using another web mail instead of Media Services though
and have it working just fine across
My way works and according to Microsoft
this is the only way to make it a permanent solution without scripting
something to run at every reboot. The thing I find interesting is that people
are saying something should be done by ipswitch. IIS automatically binds to
every ip as well.
Are the messages being resent or are your users just getting new copies of
the email downloaded to their mail client. If it is they are just getting
messages downloaded again I don't think you can stop this. That happens
because mail clients like outlook or outlook express see it as a new
APC backups have it built in to each unit. It comes with software and a serial cable
that hooks to the server and can be set to send all kinds of reports

I had a problem like this when I had Imail webmail behind an Elron

to quit doing port forwarding. I am not sure if this matches any thing

My little 2 cents is the external ip is different than what the traffic
is originating from so Earthlink sees this as a switch so therefore it
is reasonable in most cases to see this as a dynamic ip since it seems
to change in the middle of the communication. Change the external ip to
reflect
Maybe I didn't say this right. When you send mail you are saying the
traffic goes out on ip 199.44.118.253 because of the firewall. Yet your
mail server dns.mgtamer.com has an external ip of 199.44.118.2.
Earthlink is looking at this as a change during the communication. It
says hey you
Mmmmhh then the only other thing I can think of is that awhile back I
think Len mentioned that some providers may give you a static IP address
out of a dynamic block. IF that dynamic block is being blocked by your
recipients mail server then you will see exactly what is happening. If
Len sees
Oh and just mention my name and the company all systems and they might

I didn't know it was 7 servers. Are they all on the same hb/switch? Maybe the router

well sort of. it will try to use one gateway for all traffic. So if you have 2 nics
attached to 2 different lans then it may cause problems. Traffic may not get to one
