the above steps and have brought us this far along. I just think that if
what so many of us are seeing truly is the "corrupted mailbox" problem,
then something further needs to be done.

Any thoughts?

up to over 700mb in use. No stopping/restarting of services
will clear it up, it takes a reboot. It also seems that our old "friend"
iwebmsg.exe likes even more processor than before. Overall the server is
LESS stable than it was before the spool folder problem.
I hate this stuff.

Was there ever any resolution on this? This problem was just brought to
our attention by a client. Seems like there is little or no information
about this issue.

You change your plogin.html and login.html pages to read:
Log-In
http://www.yourwebserver.com/youraspscript.asp";>
So that if they do happen to hit your login page directly you just bounce
them out.

You are close. Looks like your .Application variable is wrong. Try this, it
works for me as is.

Set Executor=Server.CreateObject("ASPExec.Execute")
Executor.Application = "c:\imail\adddomain.exe"
Executor.Parameters = "-h domain.com -i V
Maybe put a redirect page on the webserver at the address the webmail link
is pointing to that bounces back to the correct calendar server

We don't use it. All of our "lists" are out of some type of member database
and we send mail from there.

A shot in the dark here, I have not tried this.
What about using the "control access" list in POP3 and denying access to all
IP address except those that you may want to give POP3 access to?
Anybody ever tried this?

I will now brace myself for the coming onslaught of rebukes... ;)

Have you made any changes in your form? We just went from 5.?
to 6.03 and our form logins still seem to be working fine. Our form uses the
following:
then the username and password box and the submit
button.

We are not using SMTP Auth with these clients. That is what is strange. It
appears as though Netscape sees the server as requesting SMTP Auth, but that
is not the case.

We have seen this same problem from time to time. Using Imail database. It
is ONLY with Netscape.

We do just that for one of our customers. Your host just needs to set your
domain to read from your SQL database (provided that your database is setup
correctly).
We do that for several customers.

Yep, it is possible.
We did one for a local radio station that works fairly well at

You can email me out of the list for the specifics.
Scott's Utilities would also be a good addition to your arsenal, as most of
that ASP stuff is done for you.
