Yes, this works for me. It is a lot of extra work, but i can edit the information like i want. You have to make sure that nobody does an "init LDAP database", because afterwards all your changes are gone. Although you have to make an "optimize LDAP" to get the changed info from the person.dta

Ali, IMail can't do that exactly; but what you can do is make a rule in the box that receivces ALL mail. Write the rule so that it deletes all mail EXCEPT the mail FROM the individual you wish to receives copies of. Then write a forward rule for that box that forwards the mail onto whomever.

Ryan, From where, are you performing the Ping test? First I'd try it on the machine with that IP. If that works, then that proves the system recognises it. If not, then only thing I can suggest is to remove the IP and add it again (maybe, remove the NIC driver and re-installing it might help,
