I have compiled the ffmpeg plugin for gstreamer in Solaris Express Developer
1/08 which have all dependency libraries and gcc /
Thanks for that Alan I had already tried SUNWxorg-headers (should have
mentioned that in the last post), but it did no good. installing
FSWxorg-headers did the trick. Now I have mpeg2dec-0.4.1 installed clean.
Unfortunately the other components seem to need a newer version of Glib and
Gstr

experience between Ubuntu and Indiana Preview 2, but can we level the

Unfortunately we've come to the same conclusion - Canon support for open
systems is somewhat lacking. Epson and HP are much better supported.

inbuilt into Nevada? I tried Nevada build 78 and had no luck with my PIXMA
iP2200, canon seems to have low support in solaris and linux. I will give this
gimp print a go but I am skeptical.
