The short answer is that "kick_mupdate()" makes no sense on a backend in the
configuration you're talking about. The long answer is that calls to
kick_mupdate() are liberally sprinkled through the code, primarily involving
calls that manipulate mailboxes or acls (xfer does both, naturally). So
I moved a test mailbox from one cyrus backend (v2.3.16) to another backend
(2.4.13beta1). The move succeeded with the following log entry on the new
backend:

Thanks for the help!

Hi,
I'm trying to configure postfix to deliver to my cyrus lmtpd. I read
the LMTP readme and configured my cyrus like this:

hosts.deny says to deny all lmtp access, and hosts.allow accepts a

I am using FreeBSD ports cyrus-imapd22 2.2.13_1.
Since the last update (from 2.2.12) I noticed that there are no error

Postfix check the internal username for some and not for others?
I hope you understand what i mean.

that has been the hint I needed. The corrupt seen files were recognized as
"data" by file command. There were one or two additional lines to much per
file. After deleting these lines the files are displayed as "Cyrus

The only error is, that cyrdeliver always complaining about:

current mailbox will also exhibit this problem if the user quota is

It sounds like you have a client that deletes by moving to a Trash folder,
and you don't have a Trash folder. Make sure the client is configured so
that delete means "mark message as deleted."
When I attemp to delete a message from the client I receive the message
that The IMAP copy failed.
Can anyone give me a clue as to what is happening so that I might attemp
to fix it?
